Update Cadence
Enable auto-updates. After big patches, restart; test your two most-used apps before changing settings.
Most device issues respond to a small set of predictable checks. Phone-Diagnostic lays them out like a lab worksheet: keep updates steady, trim permissions to intent, reduce noise at the channel level, maintain storage headroom for smooth installs, confirm the alternate network path, verify file integrity if a copy feels off, and run a mini-restore to prove backups really restore.

Audit camera, mic, location, contacts, and files. Prefer “allow only while using.” Restrict overlays and admin privileges.
Demote promos to silent; keep essential channels alerting so signal stands out.
Keep 10–20% free. Move large media to dated folders (YYYY/MM) and purge stale installers/partials.
When in doubt, compare SHA-256 hashes of the original and copy. If mismatched, re-download instead of editing a damaged file.
Repeat the same action on Wi-Fi and cellular (or another Wi-Fi). If one path works, focus fixes on that path.
Many page issues are profile issues. Test in a private window; after major browser updates, sign out/in to refresh tokens.
Keep cloud + local backups and perform a tiny restore monthly (photo or document). If encrypted, confirm you can unlock it while things are calm.
Reminder: Stop when stable—extra steps aren’t required if the symptom is gone.
